My 81 year old mother resides at Coastal Heights Senior Living. I am her daughter and caretaker. She chose to have me move her from out of state to California after my Dad passed away and my last promise to him was that I would take care of her. After looking into several places, she chose Coastal Heights. Of course I wanted the best for the woman who raised me and sacrificed so much so I was extremely protective of her and now played another role in taking on her care and well-being. That meant finding her the best home possible for her to live independently. I found it! The director understood our situation and how sensitive I was to my mother’s well-being and that we would not be hiring an outside caretaker and that it was going to be me. She and the entire staff welcomed my mother and myself with open arms, and in my 53 years, I have never seen a staff so hard working, respectful, kind and accommodating to everyone, and I mean every single member of the staff. There’s nothing more important to me than customer service and boy are they doing an exemplary job here. Thank you. You’re doing a phenomenal job!

This is a wonderful place and I would highly recommend you have your parents or grandparents come live at Coastal Heights. They have a beautiful [community] with delicious meals, lots of activities and caring staff. They also offer transportation to Dr. appointments, to the grocery store and to fun outings. My mother has been there for almost 10 years and she loves it!!

My dad moved into Coastal Heights late in January 2020. He really enjoyed the social interaction with the other residents and workers. Then Covid-19 hit.

I have to say that all of the workers at Coastal Heights are doing their very best to keep my dad and the other residents safe and still somehow connected. They are genuinely concerned for every resident’s well-being.

Coastal Heights had an immediate “this is home” feeling for my dad right from the start. They have continued to care for everyone during this crisis. It doesn’t feel like a “Senior Living Residence.” It feels more like a community or family.

I would highly recommend Coastal Heights for your parent!

I have been at Coastal Heights for 10 years and absolutely love it here! All of the staff is wonderful, and I have made some great friends! We are the best kept secret!

This place offers so much to make the change easier. Coastal Heights is a safe place to call your home. They offer: complimentary rides to your doctor’s appointments, shopping trips, scenic tours, delicious meals (with a first class kitchen staff), housekeeping once a week, several body work out classes. Well, the list goes on and on! Then there is the staff. It is a large staff so it is not possible to mention everyone individually but everyone in each department is respectful, friendly, and efficient.

I’ve been impressed with the customer service at Coastal Heights since we first came to view the [community] 3 years ago. The variety and service of the meals are wonderful and delicious. My in-laws went through their remodeling and it turned out beautiful. The rooms are modern and clean. The amenities like the salon, room cleaning, the laundry facilities on each floor, the game/TV room, library, the garden patio, social areas and happy hours and events are fun and beautiful. The rooms are spacious and very reasonable. But most important are the staff and management who are very competent, caring, very accommodating to the needs of the tenants, the care givers, and family members.

I have wanted to post this 5-star review on behalf of my mother who has recently stayed several months and, (if she can get physically better), may go back to Coastal Heights because of the wonderful staff and friendly care and treatment she received there! Everyone worked with me, her daughter and my mother herself, to make her welcome and comfortable and support her in learning of all the many activities and support services they provide. Mother made friends at Coastal Heights and loved the trips and the “Movie Nights” and the Friday “Happy Hour.” She would like me to say “Hi” and “Thank You” again to all the lovely staff in hopes she may get better and return! Your time and care with her were definitely appreciated by all of her family!

My mother-in-law lived there for almost 5 years. She loved her large apartment overlooking the courtyard. She enjoyed playing bridge and going to a dining room for her meals. It was the perfect transition from living alone in a large home to a care free life style among wonderful residents and beautiful surroundings. It’s the perfect place for you or your loved ones who no longer want to deal with home ownership hassles or being alone in an apartment or house.

Coastal Heights provides a beautiful environment, meals, amenities and activities for its residents. The apartments, as well as the common areas such as dining, library, community rooms are newly-decorated with lovely accessories. Beyond the physical appearance, the staff is first-rate. Their focus is the comfort and safety of all of the residents, and each one of them creates a first-class living experience for them. I recommend it highly.
